PLAYER 2024 CLUB MEMBERSHIP

PART 1: You will need to register with Charlotte James Connolly’s Gaelic Athletic Association via the new ClubZap App or on the website. Please see below for further instruction.

PART 2: You will need to register with the USGAA

*REGISTRATION WITH BOTH CHARLOTTE GAA AND THE USGAA ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY. These dues are paid separately by the individual.

*Without both Charlotte GAA Club Registration and USGAA registration, players MAY NOT participate in any trainings, games or tournaments under ANY code.*

CHARLOTTE GAA ADULT REGISTRATIONS FEES:

• Social Night Discount, $130 (Valid 2/23 only. Online or in person. Those who attend Social & Information Night will receive 2024 Social T-Shirt valid only with 2/23/24 registration)

• Early Bird Registration Rate, $150 (Valid 2/24 - 3/31 only)

• Full Rate, Returning Player Registration, $170 (4/1 - 4/30)

• Rookie Player Registration (any code), $100 (Valid until USGAA registration deadline 8/1)

• Social Member Registration, $50

USGAA REGISTRATION FEES (ADULT ONLY)

Men’s, $63 ($60 base fee, $3 processing fee)

Ladies, $40 ($40 base fee, $2 processing fee)

Social Membership, $11(USGAA Social Membership is not required.)

USGAA REGISTRATIONS DEADLINES:

• March 1ST, USGAA Registration Opens

• MARCH 31ST, Inter-county transfer deadline for all codes (Players who wish to transfer from ANYWHERE outside of the USA must complete transfers by this date.)

• APRIL 30TH, USGAA Player Registration deadline. Also the deadline for USGAA club-to-club transfers.

• JULY 1ST, Sanction and Permits deadline.

• AUGUST 1ST, Homegrown players who have never previously registered with an adult GAA club may register with a USGAA club on or before August 1st.

What ID should be used?

• Whatever ID you will bring to nationals.

• Ensure your ID will be valid in August of 2024.

CONSIDERATIONS:

• Only those registered as a player or social member of Charlotte James Connolly’s Gaelic Athletic Association, in the current year, possess the right to vote, nominate or propose a motion.

• Returning players, any code, must be registered prior to participating in any training sessions, games or tournaments.

• Please ensure the email you use for Charlotte GAA club registration is is active and one that you are currently using and monitoring frequently.  The email address provided is the email that we will send club related communications to.

• ROOKIE PLAYERS:: The term “Rookie Players” defines players that have not previously been registered Adult Members of any club and are currently in their first year of membership. This includes abroad and within the United States. This is a post registration term.

• PROSPECTIVE PLAYERS: A prospective player is any individual who is not currently a member of Charlotte GAA but has interest in potentially joining the club and registering on one of Charlotte GAA’s teams. Prospective players may be admitted to three (3) practices per season as a guest without having to register as a member of the club and pay dues. All prospective players must sign a waiver prior to participating in any practices. Prospective players are not allowed to participate in any tournaments, friendlies or official games. All Club Rookie Camp sessions will count as one practice.
